“I’m April, Mistress April.
At the age of 40, after living a normal vanilla relationship, I reflected upon my life and relationship.
Sex had become a thing of the past, I felt lonely and unattractive. I no longer felt adored or appreciated.
I decided I needed to make changes in my life.
After a few years of exploration and experimentation, I found a way of life that resonated with who I was meant to be.
I was inspired by a book someone referred to me and looking at my current relationship I knew this was the right way for me to proceed.
It was definitely a bold and daring step but it is so overwhelmingly rewarding that I had changed my life to a fulfilled one.
Women are awakening to realize their great potential as leaders.
April: A Real Life Story is a movie documentary shows the liberation of women and shows how women can have a fulfilling relationship with their male partner by taking the lead.
Many of the barriers in women’s empowerment and equity lie ingrained in cultural norms. A strong woman is someone who isnt afraid to share her opinions and speak the truth.
Women are capable and desirous of being whomever they want to be, doing whatever they want to do and acting however they want to act, without being concerned about being judged.
It is incredibly empowering to recognize and act on the notion that, indeed no matter what, you do have a choice!
